Leny was born in Nieuw Vennep, the Netherlands on December 4, 1935. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Adri and their 3 children, John & Carla, Gary & Evelyn, Ingrid & John. She was also deeply loved by her 9 grandchildren, Christopher, Nathaniel & Cheryl, Kendra, Andrea & David, Erin & Zander, Hilary, Rhiana, Aaron, Elysha and her 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by parents Gerrit & Maria VanderLuit (Netherlands), Co VanderLuit (brother), Corrie Roubos (sister), Gep Wesselius (sister), Tinus VanderLuit (brother), Jan VanderLuit (brother), and Nell VanLuling (sister). She will be missed by Dickie VanderLuit (sister-in-law), Toni VanderLuit (sister-in-law), Elizabeth VanderLuit (sister-in-law) and Jan VanLuling (brother-in-law). She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews in both Canada and the Netherlands. <br> <br>Visitation will be held from 6-9pm at Durham Christian Homes, 200 Glen Hill Drive South, Whitby ON on Tues. Aug. 9th, 2016. Celebration of life will be held Wed. Aug. 10th, 2016 @ 2:30 p.m. Hope Fellowship Christian Reformed Church, 1685 Bloor Street, Courtice ON. Leny will be laid to rest at Groveside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to World Renew by clicking the "Make a Donation" icon below.
