<div itemprop="description">McLINTON, Thomas "Rae", GM Retired Employee <br> <br>Passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 14, 2016 at Port Perry Place at the age of 84 and is now safe at home. After 38 years at General Motors he enjoyed a 26 year retirement with his beloved wife Miki. Rae and Miki were married in Smith Falls, ON, in 1954. Devoted father to his 5 children; Judy, Lynda (Craig Taylor), Jim (Kim), Tom (Kathy), Sharon (Rick Lees). He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren; Chad, Zach Leggott, Dr. Mara Smith, Rayanne Lees, Samantha Leggott, Korri, Mitchell, Laura Lewis, and John Lees (Rachel) and his great granddaughter Brooke. He was predeceased by his parents Lemuel and Mary Ann, and step-mother Pearl and his brothers Russell (Fran), Howard (Pat), Lorne (survived by Betty). He will be sadly missed by his family, extended family, and many friends. Many thanks to all the wonderful staff at Port Perry Place who provided Rae with tender, loving, care in his home away from home. Friends may call at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 21 Garrard Rd. Whitby (905-443-3376) on Thursday September 22, 2016 from 1 - 2:30 p.m. with a memorial service to commence in the chapel at 2:30. Interment to follow in Mount Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Association would be appreciated. <br> <br>“Now the dust has settled, the Ump has called Rae safe at home!” <br> <br></div>
