<div itemprop="description">FOSTER John 'Jack' Francis (World War ll Veteran, RCAF 1943-1944, Army 1944-1946), Unexpectedly at Uxbridge Hospital at age 91 years. Jack beloved husband of the late Isabelle Margaret Foster. Loving father of John Francis Foster, Lori Jeanne Connell (the late Robert 'Bob') and stepfather of Karin Elizabeth Anne MacMillan (James). Proud grandfather of Robert 'BJ', Jennifer (Howard), Julie (Jason) and JoAnne (Daniel). Dear brother of Thelma (Jack) Westlake, Lois (Steve) Nimigon, Jean (Lorne) Penfound, Judy Hunt and the late Russell (Kay) Foster, Dorothy (Jack) Mesher and Barbara (Don) Cochrane. Jack will be lovingly remembered by Irene Sheridan. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. A special thanks to all of his health care professionals, the Department of Veterans Affairs and all who contributed to his quality of life in his later years. Jack will be remembered for his many talents of gardening, cooking, carpentry, crafting and his love of sports, puzzle solving, keen intellect and love of family. Family and friends will be received at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME &amp; CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (North of Hwy 2) 905-443-3376 on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 1 pm until the time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 2:30 pm.
