June 5, 1934 - March 29, 2015
HALL, Marion Lorraine
June 5th 1934 - March 29th 2015
Marion died peacefully after suffering the effects of several recent severe strokes and a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was the loving only child of Clayton and Cecilia Rutt and later of Clayton’s second wife Thelda. Also pre-deceased by her dear husband Cecil - she was his cherished “Maggie” - her loss will be mourned by her children, Bryan (Cheryl), Jim (Donna), Barb (Art) and and Jeff (Sarah), grandchildren Lynda, Andy, Michael, Jason and Crystal and by 7 great-grandchildren. Marion will also be greatly missed by her extended family and friends, some going back to her childhood, and some made recently at Hillsdale Estates where she was cared for with such skill and tenderness. Flowers are respectfully declined, but donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society, would be much appreciated. Cremation has already taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby, on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service time.
