In her 92nd year (September 20, 1921 - August 21, 2013. Predeceased by her loving husband Ernie. Beloved Mother of Douglas (Pat), Chris Hoskin (Paul), Alice Caines (Robert), Jackie, Ed (late Janis), Donald, Barbara Kentner (Brian) and the late Bruce Simkin (Diane). Beloved Aunt Marg to John Van Driel (Lois) and Sandra Ford (Larry). Surrogate mother to Gloria Thornton and best friend to Carmel Bell. Loving Grandmother of Margaret Simkin, Elizabeth Olivarri (Jason) and William Simkin(Nicole), Steve Hoskin (Isabel), Kevin Hoskin (Barb), Jeffrey Caines, Allison Peric (Trajan), Michael Simkin (Kristine), Christopher Simkin, Melissa Simkin (Eric), Natalie Simkin, Will Simkin, Nikki McAleaney (Steve), Jim Simkin and Dan Kentner. Great grandmother of Nick, Mike and Rebecca Olivarri; Stella and Eli Peric; Lillian McAleaney and Mason Simkin. Sister of the late Jack (Mary) Van Driel, Gordon Van Driel, Lindert (Dot) Van Driel. Beloved aunt to Leslie and Scott Van Driel. A remarkable woman who will be missed by many for her great sense of humour and joie de vivre. We will miss her greatly.
