<div itemprop="description">SMITH Mae Roberta, Peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at age 82. Mae, beloved wife of Leonard Smith of 60 years. Loving mother of Gary (Christine), Jacquelin (David Moore) and Derrick (Wendy). Proud Nana of Jerry, Lisa, Christopher, Danielle, Colin, Andrew, Paul, Victoria, Dalton, Tyler, Jordyn, Kyle, Blake and great grandma of Jayden, Arryia, Ledger, Zaylee, Sienna and Michael. Mae will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. A special thanks to the staff in the Palliative Care Unit at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their excellent nursing care and family support. Family and friends will be received at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME CENTRE & CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (North of Hwy 2) 905-443-3376 on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 1:30 pm until the time of Service in the chapel at 2:30 pm. Interment Mount Lawn Cemetery. If desired, in memory of Mae, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Lakeridge Health Oshawa Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
