Julian Annie Morris
May 1, 1929 - August 18, 2016
Julian Annie Morris, a mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother and a great great grandmother was born in Manchester Jamaica on May 1st, 1929 and passed away at home in Oshawa on August 18, 2016. She had one daughter Olive Gray Dixon and through her, God multiplied and gave her countless grandchildren, over 30 great grandchildren and over 13 great great grandchildren. To all her family and friends she was affectionately known as Mama, Mama Julie and Ms. Julie.
Mama Julie believed in feeding the village, everyone left her home filled with food, words of wisdom and lots of love. Mama Julie was a hard worker, she served others selflessly, passionately giving herself away. She was a warrior yet angelic, unafraid to defend and comfort her family and she did it in her beautiful grandmotherly way and her dimpled smile. Most of all, Mama Julie was a lover of Jesus. Always giving Him praise, glory and honour. He was her life, He was her rock and He was her strength.
Visitation at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21 Garrard Rd. Whitby, 905-443-3376, on Friday August 26, 2016 from 5-9pm. Funeral Service at 12:00pm on Saturday August 27, 2016 at The Embassy Church, 416 Taunton Rd. W, Oshawa. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Embassy Church - Missions. Memories and condolences can be shared online in the guestbook.
Mama Julie will be missed but her memory, her laughter and her love will always be with us.
