Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, October 31, 2014 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Elizabeth. Loving father of Janice (Peter Armstrong), George, Laura (Jeff Waltham). Deeply loved Granda to Ian and Taylor McMillan and Da to Jillian and Scott Waltham. Brother to Margaret (Andrew Alexander) and Harry. Predeceased by brother Tommy. Brother in law to Allie, Lillias (John), Grace (Allan), Alex (Seila), Jim (Isobel), Mary (John) and David. George will be missed by his extended family, friends and all who knew him in Scotland and Canada. A special thank you to Dr. Trussler and his nurse Julie of the CCU at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Friends may call at the MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Funeral Service in the Mount Lawn Chapel on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 11 am. Cremation.
