MacGregor, David Bruce 1935-2015

With saddened hearts we announce the death of our husband, father and grandfather David in his 81st year on Tuesday December 29, 2015 at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa. Loving husband and best friend of Sharon. Devoted father of Christopher (Lisa), and Brian (Lisa). Adoring poppa to Quinn, Morgan, Ellie, and Alex. Dave along with his sister Marcia was born in East York to Mabel and Alex MacGregor. Dave enjoyed a nearly 30 year career with Ontario Hydro where his dedicated work ethic earned the respect of all. In all his walks of life, whether travelling near or far to many spots in the world with Sharon and friends, enjoying family time in Muskoka or simply enjoying his garden or front porch. Dave's warm, quiet nature and loving spirit came through to all who knew him. Dave was a gentle, kind, and generous man whose legacy will be his love of life, passion for reading, love of all things Canadian, but most of all the unwavering love of his family- who will miss him forever. A celebration of his life will take place on Sunday January 3, 2016 from 1 - 3 p.m. at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby, 905-443- 3376. Followed by the interment at Mount Lawn Cemetery, which all are welcome to attend.
