DORAN, Beverly Ann
July 20, 1938- February 17, 2016.
It is with a very heavy heart I announce the sudden passing of my mom at her home in her 78th year. The World’s Greatest Mom Ever. A strong, kind, caring, considerate, unselfish woman who was always there with unconditional love.
Bev, the loving mom and best friend of Jennifer Doran (Greg Urie) and Brutus her fury side kick. Daughter of the late Lois Beatrice Doran (2004) and Victor G Doran. Sister of Betty Pillar (Sealy Pillar) of Prescott and Aunt Tammy Lyn Clark of Ottawa, and the late Joanne Pillar.
Mom retired in 2004 from General Motors with 30 years of service.
She loved going to Lake Seymour (Red Setter) for the summers. She will be dearly missed by her friends at the fire pit and Bingo. She was an avid bingo player at the Red Barn. Mom loved the beauty of nature and watching her flowers bloom in the garden and the seasons changing. But her greatest passion was the love she had for her daughter for every day they shared. All the road trips and the adventures they had together. She will be missed by the many friends and neighbors. Thank you for always being there and being you, from the bottom of my heart. I miss you Mom, I love you Mom.
A celebration of her life will take place on Sunday February 28, 2016 at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Rd, Whitby. (905 443-3376) at 12 p.m. with visitation prior from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. If desired donations to the Animal Shelter- Uxbridge and Scugog or to Sick Kids Foundation.
